CRU are offering our current website development packages at a heavily discounted rate to CRU clients until the end of March 2024. If your website is 3+ years old, we recommend a rebuild upgrade.
Exisiting websites can still be updated, however new website builds have the latest frameworks meaning they are less bulky, perform much faster as well as are built for SEO.
CRU no longer uses external page builders which are heavy on resources and are using the newer native WP builder (Gutenberg) as well as Advanced Custom Fields.
- Advanced winery specific features

CRU has 3 wine themes that we can switch in your content and images (links below)
CRU website packages:
CORE (for smaller websites) - Up to 5 pages, locked down to the one theme with the option to add 2 blocks from any other theme. Client may want to select this package and duplicate any pages that are not part of the package and update/change the content and images themselves. In this scenario, CRU would complete the scoped work, charge the final amount and leave the site for the client to complete. 2 Feedback rounds
PRO - Unlimited pages. Locked down to one theme with the option to add 4 blocks from any other theme. 2 Feedback rounds
XL - Unlimited pages. Locked down to one theme with the option to add as many blocks from any other theme. Includes a final design and 3 rounds of revision. 3 Feedback rounds
CUSTOM - Custom design, get exactly what you want.
Note: if CRU is requested to complete any further work outside the package scope, we will provide costs in the form of CRU CREDITS

How it works
- Once you have confirmed the package you want and the theme, CRU will invoice 50% of the total amount (any additions outside of these packages will be charged in CRU CREDITS).
- CRU will provide a project scope document outlining the inclusions so there are no surprises on either side.
- The project document will allow you to select which blocks you want, which to duplicate and which to trash. The document will allow you to add your content for each block as well as drop in your images.
- Once the project doc is complete for content and asset collection, CRU developers will start to build your site and will take your high res images and resize them as well as optimise for web.
- Once our team have completed adding content and images and setting menus and other front end items, you will be provided with a link to your site and a feedback section on the project doc.
- Once you have provided feedback (as long as it is in scope) our team will turnaround that feedback and you will be able to review again (the number of feedback rounds depends on your package selection).
- Once all feedback rounds are complete, we will invoice the final amount and launch the site.

FAQ's
Q. What is a 'block'?
A. A block is a row in the design/theme. Examples are the header where the menu is situated, the first hero image on the page, a testimonial row. Each of these have been pre-designed and built into the themes and can be interchangeable or moved up and down or even duplicated.
Q. There is a style of block/design that is not in the theme that we want?
A. If the block exists in one of the other themes you can select to have it included in your project. The number of blocks you can add from another theme will be dependant on the package you select. If there is no block in any of the themes, you can request it. Our designer will mock up and provide a couple of feedback rounds. This will be quoted and charged in CRU CREDITS.
Q. There are more blocks on a page than we need?
A. We have built these themes to have a few more blocks than they need so that they can be customised (mainly the content pages). Don't need a block? Just mark it down in our project doc which ones you want and which ones you don't want, which ones you want to duplicate and so on. This means you can have a custom site based on the blocks of the theme you have selected.
Q. Whilst we do this rebuild, we want to add new features to our site.
A. Great! You can provide us with a brief and we can supply you with some options. Like all of our added features, these are priced in CRU CREDITS.
Q. What happens to our current data including products, orders, customers/users, wine club subscriptions?
A. We import all of these so you don't have to worry about missing data. Prior to launching your new site, our team will import any orders, subscriptions etc made between the time we create the new staging site for your new build to the time we launch.
Q. Is the website responsive for mobile?
A. Yes! We have built these to be mobile responsive and browser compatible.
Q. I found an issue on one of the themes
A. We've only just built these so if you pick up an issue, let us know and we'll make sure its fixed on the theme and your project.
